The idea
I built Tubzer because I was tired of the same alarm sounds every morning. YouTube has millions of videos — music, news, comedy, nature — so why not use that as your alarm? The app is a side project I genuinely care about, and I plan to keep it ad-free and improving.
In-app purchases
To keep the lights on without selling ads, Tubzer has two optional purchases. Neither is required to use the core app.
- Tubot AI Credits — fuel for the AI. Each credit lets Tubot generate a new personalised video suggestion. A small free allowance is included.
- Custom username — set a memorable ID instead of the random one. Useful if friends send you alarm videos regularly.
